It’s an exciting day for Sussex fans everywhere! Not only did Duchess Meghan announce a new podcast deal that will see her host a future series, she also released a stunning brand-new photo of herself.
In a news post shared to Meghan and Prince Harry’s recently unveiled Sussex.com website, the duchess smiles brightly and leans against a pillar in a portrait captured by photographer and friend Misan Harriman. The snap shows Meghan from the waist up, but we still manage to glean a bit of her cool California style, from her sleeveless gray turtleneck to her signature gold Cartier watch (which once belonged to Princess Diana). She opted for a rosy soft glam look and wore her dark brown hair down and behind her back, styled into loose, large curls.

Deadline reported today that the Duchess of Sussex has struck a podcast deal with Lemonada Media, which has produced chart-topping shows like Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Wiser Than Me, Funny Cuz It’s True with Elyse Myers, Hard Feelings with Jennette McCurdy, and Choice Words with Samantha Bee.
In addition to creating a new series with Lemonada, Meghan will distribute her old Spotify podcast Archetypes through the company.
“I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting,” the duchess said in a statement. “Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024. Our plan to rerelease Archetypes, so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”
