June 10, 1968About
Danny Fujikawa was born in Los Angeles to Ron Fujikawa (who died in 2012) and Melissa Linehan. He briefly attended New York University but dropped out after creating the band Chief with fellow students Evan Koga and Mike Moonves, and his brother, Michael Fujikawa.
The group released their first EP, The Castle is Gone, in 2008, before dropping their only studio album, Modern Rituals, two years later. In 2013, Danny launched his own record company, Lightwave Records, with The Delta Mirror frontman, Chris Acosta.
The musician started dating Kate Hudson in December 2016 — and they made their red carpet debut five months later. In October 2018, they welcomed their daughter, Rani, whom is the third child for Hudson. The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star shares sons Ryder and Bingham with exes Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, respectively.
Danny proposed to Hudson in September 2021 after five years of dating.
